About Rendition
Description
Rendition is an 8-piece combo made up of a vocalist, 4 horns and a
rhythm section. The horns include a trumpet, trombone, alto sax, and tenor
sax. The rhythm section includes a bass, drums, and keyboards.
Type of Music
Rendition has its roots in jazz and swing, but mixes in a variety of music for
all ages. We love to play the jazz favorites of the big band greats such as
Glen Miller and Duke Ellington, but we also mix in favorites of the more
modern swing era. To add variety, Rendition also has some great
sounding horn arrangements of other music types including some pop
and rock dance tunes, popular ballads, polkas, shag, Latin, etc. We even
can add our own unique jazz sound to holiday and special occasion music
such as Christmas parties.
Occasions
You will find the music of Rendition suitable for a wide variety of
occasions, especially when your event has patrons of different ages. We
are asked to perform at wedding receptions, dinner parties,
anniversaries, benefits and fund raisers, and dances.
Location
Clemson, SC is home base for Rendition, with regular performances
throughout Pickens, Oconee, and Anderson counties. Inquiries about
other locations are encouraged.
